탭 브라우저로 유명한 Maxthon이 2009년 1월 14일 자로 2.5.1 버전을 내놓은 후 일종의 패치 버전을 22일 자로 내놓았다.

- fixed a crash problem when scrolling on the tab bar buttons
- fixed a crash problem when selecting the "count" in Find In Page bar
- fixed an interface problem when restored from the boss key
- fixed some crash problem when dialogs popup
General
- fixed javascript alert()/window.close problem
- improved tab switching speed
- fixed web page scrolling problem when web page does not have focus
- fixed problem clean History and Undo list when exit
될 수 있으면 사용하던 버전은 깨끗하게 삭제(uninstall)하고 새로 설치하여 사용하는 것이 좋다.
