이 2009년 6월 1일 자로 2.5.2.6608 베타 4 버전을 내놓은 후, 6월 26일에 2.5.2.6929 베타 5 버전을 내놓았다.. Maxthon 2.5.2.6929 Beta 5 다운로드 페이지로 가기
이번 버전의 주요 개선 사항은 아래와 같다.
Core
- support IE toolbars again
- online favorites supports http
- fixed some IME input problems
- fixed some embeded player full screen problem
- fixed some Real/WMP embeded webpage mouse click problem
Interface
- fixed plugin installation problem when boss key is activated
- fixed a problem that refresh/stop button cannot combine after customization
Other
- fixed some setting default browser problems
Know issue
- some task bar problem when IE toolbar is enabled
될 수 있으면 사용하던 버전은 깨끗하게 삭제(uninstall)하고 새로 설치하여 사용하는 것이 좋다.
참고로 이번 버전에서도 이전과 마찬가지로 많은 개선이 이루어졌다고 공지되었지만, 체감하는 기능에는 개선의 여지가 많다. 될 수 있는 한 베타 버전보다는 정식 버전을 사용하는 것이 좋다.
