탭 브라우저로 유명한 Maxthon이 2007년 12월 24일자로 2.0.7.1030 버전이 나온 후 4일만에 2.0.7.1245 버전이 나왔다. 이렇게 바로 새 버전이 나오면 바로 설치해 주는 것이 좋다.

가급적 사용하던 버전은 깨끗하게 삭제(uninstall)하고 새로 설치하여 사용하는 것이 좋다.

예전 글([Maxthon] 내 즐겨찾기를 USB 플래시 드라이브에 넣고 다니면서 사용하기[2007. 10. 2.])에서 밝힌 바와 같이 PC에서 사용 중인 Maxthon 폴더 전체를 USB 등 외장 메모리로 복사하면 다른 곳에 가서도 그대로 자신의 환경 설정 값으로 웹 서핑을 할 수 있다.
